Who are the best players?

Most of you know who are the strongest teams in soccer because of some earlier blocks you might have read. But who are the top five best players in the world?

It is hard to say, but I will put my opinion in it, and what some people think:

El Clásico

El Clásico is the soccer rival game between Real Madrid and F.C. Barcelona, the two biggest soccer teams in Spain and in the world.

The game is this Monday, November 29, 2010 in Barcelona.

It is one of the biggest rival games in sports. It will be on TV in more than 200 countries and more than 100 million people watch it worldwide.

The last couple years Barcelona always won. But Madrid now has the best coach in the world, and they look very strong this year. They haven’t lost one game yet.

Game Preview: 

Madrid is the leader of the Spanish Primeria Division with 32 points, followed by Barcelona by 31. Both teams have one 10 games out of 12, but Barcelona lost one of them.

The Madrid team bus was attacked earlier today with stones by Barcelona fans.

Who ever will win this game, will take the lead in the league.

Madrid has a new face under Coach Mourinho and looks very strong in ever event (Primeria Division and Champions League)

In my opinion it will be a close game, but Madrid is maybe the strongest team on the planet right now and they will win it.

Also Ronaldo might be the strongest player in the world right now. He is leading the league with 15 goals.

UEFA Championsleauge

The Champions league is the strongest and biggest tournament in soccer for club teams. Winning the World cup is the biggest thing a player can achieve in his career. But every great player wants to win the Champions league too, because it is the biggest achievement for a club team.

Real Madrid has won the most titles so far. 

The best three or four teams from a certain leagues qualify for the Champions league. The bigger and stronger a league is in a country, the more teams can qualify for it.

There is a group stage with eight groups and four teams in each group. The two best teams out of every group will make it to the next round.

After the group stages it goes right to a do or die system and the best teams from there make it to the finals. In the do or die system, every team will play a home and an away game.

There are no big surprises this year. All the top teams (Manchester, Bayern, Chelsea, Madrid, Barcelona are leading in there group)

Just Inter Milan, the champions from last year, is second in the group but with the same amount of points like the leader Tottenham. 

Schalke 04, who is struggling big time in the German League, is leading their group in the Champions Legaue.

Arsenal London, another top team is second in their group, but Braga in the third spot have the same amount of points, so it will come down to a show down in the last game next week.

In my opinion is Madrid the in the top spot to win it this year. They just seem so strong and have also the best coach in the world.

Latest Bundesliga Update

At game day 14, with just three games left to the winter break, Borussia Dortmund is the new leader of the Bundesliga with 34 points and have a comfortable lead to the second place team Mainz with 27 points.

Top team Bayern Munich is in the top eight now but they are still struggling and not playing their best soccer or in other words they are not showing their whole potential they are capable of.  Three good Bayern news: Bayern is playing very strong in the Champions League, Superstar Franck Ribery is back from his injury, and star forward Mario Gomez, who had a bad year last season is finally exploding (Bayern paid 30 million Euros to Stuttgart 2 years ago, to acquire him)

Three other top teams, Schalke 04 (15th), Vfb Stuttgart (16th) and Werder Bremen (12th) are still struggling. Only Schalke 04 seems to make improvements. Werder Bremen lost the last few games, and it seems like they can’t handle the loss of Mesut Özil, who went to Real Madrid this summer.

Surprises this year are Freiburg (6th), Hannover (4th), and Mainz(2nd).

Top scorer is Gekas from Frankfurt with 11 goals, followed by Cisse (Freiburg) with ten goals by.

Just four games left until the break. It will be interesting to see how it will turns out and what Bayern Munich can do to catch up. Borussia Dortmund just seems unbeatable right now....
